This is the tallest of my vessel that were made during my master project in 2010, measuring 85 cm. The walls are wafer thin, only 1-2 mm thick from top to bottom, and the colours are achieved by mixing exact amounts of porcelain and terracotta.

The colours were chosen using the Fibonacci sequence, where each number in the sequence up to 89 is represented by the amount of terracotta that is mixed with the porcelain.

Thank you :aww:
I think this is my all time favourite of my pieces. Pretty big, though, and mixing so many colours was a bit of a pain... but completely worth it! :D

Awesome concept! The use of the Fibonacci sequence explains why the colors harmonize so well!

Thanks :thanks:
I was quite interested in seeing if the colours would have the same sense of harmony that the sequence itself has, and I must say I am very pleased with how it turned out :D

I don't think you can ever go wrong with the sequence. :D

Thank you very much :thanks: And thanks for adding it to your favourites! That is always greatly appreciated :aww:

The Fibonacci sequence felt very natural to incorporate into the work. Everything about it is very pure and natural, yet structured and systematic. Just like the Fibonacci sequence. I find it fascination how it is found everywhere in the natural world. It's quite ironic, really, that the word organic when it comes to form/art, is related to chaotic and free forms, when organic is quite the opposite! I could go on and on about it :D
